Dan Taylor joined the team on 1 August 2024 as Operations Manager, bringing with him a diverse background in customer service, logistics, and operational management. His broad range of experience across multiple industries has equipped him with the skills and knowledge to play a key role in ensuring Van Guru’s operations run efficiently and continue to deliver exceptional customer service.

Dan began his career in the retail sector, where he spent seven years specialising in customer excellence within the gambling industry. During this time, he developed a strong understanding of customer service, team leadership, and business operations. Responsible for managing teams and improving day-to-day processes, Dan built a reputation for delivering high service standards while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and enhance the overall customer experience.

In 2019, Dan made the transition into the automotive sector, joining Brayleys West Way Nissan. Over the next five years, he gained extensive experience in vehicle logistics and operational management, overseeing vehicle distribution, stock management, and the coordination of daily operations. Working in a fast-paced dealership environment, Dan successfully implemented improvements that enhanced delivery performance, streamlined operational processes, and reduced costs, all while maintaining excellent levels of customer satisfaction.

As Operations Manager at Van Guru, Dan is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational functions of the business. This includes coordinating vehicle collections and deliveries, managing logistics to ensure every customer receives a seamless experience, and overseeing bookkeeping and key administrative processes. Working closely with colleagues across sales, business development, and customer support, he plays an integral role in maintaining operational excellence and supporting the continued growth of the business.
