Emma joined the business in June 2021, bringing with her extensive experience in the light commercial vehicle (LCV) sector. Prior to joining Van Guru, she spent 12 successful years at Midlands Truck & Van, a franchised Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicle retailer, where she developed a strong reputation for delivering exceptional service and building long-term relationships with customers.
During her time at Midlands Truck & Van, Emma specialised in managing key accounts for vehicle brokers and leasing companies. Working closely with fleet operators, finance providers, and procurement teams, she gained invaluable experience in understanding the unique requirements of commercial vehicle customers and delivering tailored vehicle and fleet solutions to meet their operational needs.
As Business Development Director at Van Guru, Emma is responsible for driving the company’s continued growth by developing new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing clients. She oversees Van Guru’s broker partnerships, leasing company relationships, conversion partners, and end-user accounts, ensuring customers receive expert guidance and a consistently high level of service throughout the vehicle specification and procurement process.
Emma plays a key role in helping businesses source commercial vehicles that are purpose-built for their operations. Working closely with customers across a wide range of industries, she advises on vehicle selection, specialist conversions, funding options, and fleet strategies to ensure every vehicle is tailored to its intended application.
